41,000 dwt Antwerpen was converted to belt self-unloader by SMT Shipping in 1999 and included the addition of two PLM 2020 cranes on gantry. This vessel is able to self-load from barges at the rate of 25,000t/day and self-unloads at about the same rate. Antwerpen is a high performance vessel able to self-load and self-unload the worst materials imagineable.
